Itinerary:
Day 1 Departure to Tel-Aviv, Jerusalem
Day 2. Arrival in Tel Aviv
We start our journey in the Holy Land. Upon arrival at Ben Gurion International Airport. Transferred to the hotel in Jerusalem.
Day 3. Church of St. Peter of Gallicantu: Caiaphas House – The Garden Tomb – Ecce Homo Con/Antonia’s Fortress – Church of St. Anne – Pools of Bethesda – Garden of Gethsemane – Church of All Nations –
Today we will focus on the Jerusalem of the Bible and visit the most famous sites in the New Testament and in the life of Jesus Christ including the Place of the Ascension, Pater Noster, Mount of Olives, Garden of Gethsemane, Church of All Nations, and the Old City of Jerusalem. This is a brilliant one-day introduction to Jerusalem and is fully guided by a licensed tour guide, and includes hotel pickup at 8:20 am. We will visit the Church of the Ascension, where Jesus is believed to have ascended to Heaven. Enter the Pater Noster, where Jesus recited the Lord’s Prayer. An easy walk on the Mount of Olives taking in the spectacular city-view. Visit the Dominus Flevit where Jesus foresaw the destruction of Jerusalem. Enter the Garden of Gethsemane and visit the Church of All Nations. Cross through the Kidron Valley. Enter the Old City via the Lion’s Gate and visit the Pools of Bethesda. Visit the Church of St Anne. Explore the cellars of the Covenant of the Sisters of Zion in the Old City. See the start point of the Via Dolorosa and walk in Jesus’s Footsteps. Visit the Church of St. Peter of Gallicantu, Caiaphas House.

Day 4. Hezekiah’s Tunnel – The Western Wall – The Cardo – The Church of the Holy Sepulchre – David’s Tomb
Today you will visit David’s Tomb, the Upper Room and Cenacle, this is where Jesus led the Last Supper Seder. Continue to the Cardo and visit Hezekiah’s Tunnel where the Shiloah Inscription written approximately 2700 years ago was discovered. Then to the Western Wall, Jerusalem’s holiest place. Continue The Arab souk in the Muslim Quarter that extends from Damascus Gate to the Via Dolorosa. Its many stalls sell spices, pastries, embroidered dresses, sheepskin coats, leather goods, antiquities and other handicrafts.
Meals: Breakfast Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 5. Galilee, Nazareth, Tiberias and Haifa
Pickup from your Jerusalem and drive through the Judean Desert and Inn of the Good Samaritan. Stop at Yardenit, a picturesque baptismal site at the Jordan river. Drive through the Jordan Valley and visit Tiberias, where Jesus lived, sojourned and preached on the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Explore Capernaum, and other important Biblical sites in this beautiful region. Visit Nazareth, the home of Jesus. Explore the churches, including the famous Basilica of the Annunciation, and stroll through the colorful markets. We will see Haifa, Israel’s third largest city, and the impressive Bahai Gardens which straddle the slopes of Mount Carmel.

Day 6. Bethlehem – Chapel of The Shepherds Field – Basilica and Cave Grotto of the Nativity – Jericho
After breakfast in the hotel we will drive to Bethlehem which is where you will spend most of your day. You will visit the Chapel of the Shepherds’ Field where Jesus was Enunciated, the Basilica and Cave Grotto of the Nativity where jesus was born, and an Olive Wood Factory and Gift Shop for a craftsman visit. Visit Jericho, the lowest city on earth, tour its ancient ruins and enjoy an overview of the Mount of Temptation.
Meals: Breakfast and Lunch. Overnight in Jerusalem.
Day 7. Free Day in Jerusalem
Today you will have a free day to enjoy our last day in Israel before our transfer to Jordan. You can walk through the Arab souk in the Muslim Quarter that extends from Damascus Gate to the Via Dolorosa. Its many stalls sell spices, pastries, embroidered dresses, sheepskin coats, leather goods, antiquities and other handicrafts.
Meals: Breakfast. Overnight in the Jerusalem.
Day 8. Land transfer to Jordan – Dead Sea – Am’in.
Pick up at your hotel in Jerusalem at 5:30 am heading to the Bet Shean Border (Sheikh Hussein) from where you’ll cross into Jordan. (Visa is required and issued at the border) at 8:00 am we will cross the border into Jordan.
Day 9. The Rose City of Petra.
After breakfast at the hotel we will visit the ancient city of Petra, a UNESCO world heritage site and one of the Seven Wonders of the World and enjoy an extended tour of Petra, dating to around 300 B.C., capital of the Nabataean Kingdom. Accessed via a narrow canyon called Al Siq, it contains tombs and temples carved into pink sandstone cliffs, earning its nickname, the “Rose City.” At the end of our Tour we’ll depart Petra for Wadi Rum. Arrive to the campsite in Wadi Rum and enjoy an authentic dinner in the desert setting.

Day 10. Wadi Rum Tour
Breakfast at the campsite enjoying the beautiful morning skies of Wadi Rum. Head into the Wadi Rum Reserve on a jeep safari led by our local Bedouin guides.
Day 11. Madaba – Mount Nebo – Learn about Jordan’s biblical heritage as we travel in the footsteps of Moses – Amman.
After breakfast we will tour Madaba, and its famous Byzantine mosaics. See the same view across the Promised Land as Moses had after 40 years wandering in the desert from Mount Nebo. At the end of our tour we will drive to Amman. Check in our hotel for an overnight in Amman.
Day 12. Final Departure from Amman.
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Alia International Airport for departure back home.
